July of gratitude: Lam Dong Provincial Museum - where historical memories are preserved and promoted

When July comes, millions of Vietnamese hearts turn to War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27) with deep respect and gratitude. This is not only an opportunity to commemorate the great contributions of heroic martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers, and those who contributed to the revolution, but also to promote the tradition of "Repaying gratitude". In that noble journey, Lam Dong Provincial Museum still persistently carries out its mission of preserving and promoting historical values to connect the past with the present and at the same time arouse patriotism and national pride for the young generation. These efforts help light the fire of gratitude, preserve intact heroic memories and widely spread Ho Chi Minh's ideology on war invalids and martyrs, so that the moral "When drinking water, remember the source" will forever live with the nation.

During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh always paid special attention to war invalids, martyrs and people with meritorious services to the revolution. Uncle Ho's words of advice: "The blood of the martyrs has made the revolutionary flag shine red. The heroic sacrifice of the martyrsMartyrs have made our country bloom with independence and freedom", which is not only a word of gratitude but also a sacred reminder of the responsibility of today's generations towards the nation's history.

More than half a century since Uncle Ho's departure, that profound humanistic thought continues to illuminate all "Gratitude" activities across the country. These are programs to care for the lives of people with meritorious services, thoughtful care of martyrs' cemeteries, journeys to search for lost martyrs' remains, traditional educational activities and especially the work of preserving and promoting historical values in museums and revolutionary relics.

Imbued with Ho Chi Minh's ideology and continuing tradition, Lam Dong Provincial Museum is determined to turn gratitude into concrete actions, becoming a place to preserve historical memories, educate patriotic traditions and spread that profound humanistic thought to the masses. This is "an order from the heart". This deeply humane act not only continues the tradition of "Repaying gratitude", but is also an invaluable historical lesson about gratitude for future generations.
