
Attending the program were Associate Professor, Dr. Vo Khac Thuong - Chairman of the School Council, Principal of Phan Thiet University, Ms. Le Thi Truc Linh - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province, representatives of Lam Dong Provincial Museum leaders, school leaders, lecturers, students and representatives of departments, branches and localities.
The exhibition introduces more than 120 typical images and documents about the history, culture, people and heritage of Lam Dong. In particular, ancient maps, ordinations, edicts and historical documents related to Vietnam's sovereignty over seas and islands contribute to providing visual information about the process of establishing, enforcing and protecting national sovereignty at sea.
Opening speech, Associate Professor, PhD. Vo Khac Thuong emphasized that the exhibition is a bridge that brings the young generation closer to the history, culture and heritage of the homeland, thereby fostering pride and raising a sense of responsibility in preserving and promoting heritage values and wishes to continue to coordinate with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism andLam Dong Provincial Museum in scientific research, training, digital transformation and promoting heritage values.
In her welcome speech, Ms. Le Thi Truc Linh affirmed that Lam Dong is a land rich in historical and cultural traditions and has a rich heritage system. Bringing heritage to the classroom contributes to traditional education, helping students better understand the history and culture of their homeland, thereby raising awareness of preserving and promoting heritage values. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province will continue to coordinate with Phan Thiet University in scientific research, training, experience, internships, digitization of heritage and activities associated with museums, monuments and tourism.
The exhibition will last until September 5, 2026, and is a practical activity in the coordination program between Lam Dong Provincial Museum and Phan Thiet University, linking heritage with education, conservation with promotion, tradition with creativity, contributing to creating a learning space and heritage experience for students and the public.
