
The launch aims to collect, gather, preserve and maximize the value of valuable historical documents, contributing to comprehensively reflecting the leadership and direction of the Party Central Committee, Politburo, Secretariat and Party agencies at the Central level through historical periods, aiming to build cultural and historical works of national stature.
With a professional role, Lam Dong Provincial Museum will organize the reception and evaluation of historical documents and artifacts related to the history of the Communist Party of Vietnam, President Ho Chi Minh, and General Secretary comrades through the periods currently kept locally, at the same time synthesize and transfer to higher-level specialized agencies.
To ensure the set requirements, artifacts, documents, and images in the campaign to collect and donate artifacts and historical documents focus on the following content groups:
- Political documents and documents: Platforms, Party Charter,documents of the National Party Congresses (from Congress I to Congress XIV); Resolutions, Conclusions, and Directives of the Central Executive Committee, Politburo, Secretariat, Party committees, and Party agencies at the Central level over time.
- Historical documents: Photos, films, paintings, publications, artifacts reflecting the activities of Party leaders, major political events of the Party, the country, activities of party agencies and organizations from 1930 to the present.
- Memorabilia, movement symbols: Party flag samples, medals, certificates of merit, honorary degrees and party membership card samples through historical periods.
- Documents about predecessor leaders: Manuscripts of speeches, articles, letters, photos, personal belongings of President Ho Chi Minh (especially during the period of revolutionary activities in France, Russia, and China); documents of the General Secretary and typical loyal party members.
- Diplomatic artifacts: Gifts of historical significance from parties, countries, and senior leaders around the world to the Party, State, and leaders of Vietnam.
Collection work will be carried out systematicallyScientifically, stick to the following two stages:
- Phase 1 (from now until before February 2030):Lam Dong Provincial Museum will focus on receiving and professionally processing artifacts and materials collected from organizations and individuals, then transfer them to the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.
- Phase 2 (from February 2030 onwards): Coordinate with central agencies to introduce and display precious artifacts at the Museum of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and continue to maintain the collection and mobilization of long-term donation of documents and artifacts.
This launch not only enriches the national treasure trove of revolutionary documents but is also a profound political activity of the people of Lam Dong. Individuals and organizations that have made positive contributions in collecting and donating precious artifacts will be submitted by the Lam Dong Provincial Museum to promptly be praised and honored by the competent authorities.
