Mr. Dinh Van Tuan - Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Council, chaired the meeting. Attending were members of the Appraisal Council, scientists and experts in the field of cultural heritage at the provincial level; Representatives of leaders of communes and wards with cultural heritage in the area, along with relevant agencies and units.
The Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province to invite Associate Professor, PhD. Bui Chi Hoang, Member of the National Cultural Heritage Council, contributed professional opinions at the meeting.
There are 8 documents requested for appraisal, including:
- Traditional fish sauce making profession in Phan Thiet, Lam Dong province (submitted to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for registration on the National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage);
- Duc Thanh School historical relic, Phan Thiet ward (submitted to the Prime Minister for ranking as a special national monument);
- Scenic Spot A1 Cave, Nam Da Commune (submitted to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to rank as a national monumentprice);
- C2 Cave scenic spot, Nam Da commune (submitted to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to rank as a national relic);
- Le Hong Phong base, Hoa Thang commune (submitted to the Provincial People's Committee for ranking as a provincial relic);
- Long Le Temple historical relic, Bac Binh commune (submitted to the Provincial People's Committee for ranking as a provincial-level relic);
- Hoi Phuoc Thien historical relic, Lien Huong commune (submitted to the Provincial People's Committee for ranking as a provincial relic);
- Historical relic of Dak Dam Border Guard Station, Thuan An commune (submitted to the Provincial People's Committee for ranking as a provincial-level relic).
Council members evaluated the contents of each dossier, especially the historical, cultural, scientific, architectural, artistic, landscape values, representativeness, typicality and necessary elements to protect and promote the value of each heritage and monument.
The appraisal council voted and agreed 100% to recommend to the Prime Minister and the Ministry of CultureCulture, Sports and Tourism and the Provincial People's Committee register and rank typical cultural heritages in Lam Dong province.
