Ho Chi Minh City National Historical and Cultural Park Management Board visited and exchanged experiences at Lam Dong Provincial Museum

On the afternoon of July 16, 2026, the working group of the Management Board of Ho Chi Minh City's National Historical and Cultural Park had a visit and exchange of work experience at the Lam Dong Provincial Museum. The business trip aims to strengthen coordination and share experiences in the field of preserving and promoting cultural heritage values, promoting the application of science, technology and digital transformation.

Two units exchange work experience

Before the meeting, the delegation visited the display system, preservation of artifacts and visitor reception activities of Lam Dong Provincial Museum. At the meeting, the two units discussed many contents related to the management, preservation and promotion of cultural heritage values; activities of collecting, inventorying, preserving and displaying artifacts; communication and promotion work; unit management and solutions to improve the quality and efficiency of museum operations in the context of digital transformation. The content of the exchange focused on implementing the Central policies on developing culture, science, technology, innovation and digital transformation in the field of cultural heritage.

In the field of expertise, the delegation is especially interested in the experience of Lam Dong Provincial Museumin the process of collecting and receiving artifacts, building and implementing regulations on collecting artifacts, estimating the annual budget for collecting artifacts, methods of coordinating and organizing mobile display activities between units... Practical experiences in the process of implementing tasks have been openly exchanged by both sides, contributing to sharing appropriate solutions to improve the quality and operational efficiency of each unit.

Representatives of Lam Dong Provincial Museum also shared experiences in managing, preserving and promoting the value of the artifact warehouse with thousands of original artifacts of many different types and materials. In addition, the unit introduces initial results in digital transformation, building an artifact database, and applying technology in managing, displaying and introducing heritage, contributing to improving conservation efficiency and serving the research, learning and sightseeing needs of the public.

Experiences are exchanged by two units such as applicationstechnology, digital transformation, building digital databases, digitizing artifacts, developing websites, virtual museums, QR code applications and digital platforms serving the management, research and promotion of heritage. These are contents that have practical meaning in the context of promoting digital transformation, aiming to build a modern management environment and improve visitor experience.

The working session took place in an open, frank and effective atmosphere, creating conditions for the two units to share practical experiences, learn appropriate management models and professional solutions.
